Eatonton, Georgia– The historic Eatonton Cotton Warehouse (https://www.eatontoncottonwarehouse.com/) has hired Stephanie Gail Brookins to act as their new Sales Director. With her passion for business, experience in the catering and service industries, and dedication to her community, Stephanie brings a valuable skill set to this downtown Eatonton event and wedding venue.

Born to an American family in Duren, Germany, Stephanie has lived in middle Georgia since she was six months old. She married her soulmate B.J. Brookins after high school graduation, and16 years later they have two amazing sons, 12-year- old Tyler and 7-year- old Waylon, both of whom attend Gatewood School. She worked for many years at Green’s Collision Center, and at Bone Island Grill, where she waited tables, tended bar, and assisted with catering events—experience that she will be able to draw on for her work with The Eatonton Cotton Warehouse.

Giving back to her fellow Georgians is particularly important to Stephanie. Inspired to help families in need, she has been involved in a number of local fundraising events. She is a member of the 100 Women Who Care Lake Country, and has been active in helping with the Lake Oconee Food and Wine Festival. Her passion for connecting with her community makes her very well-suited to her new position as The Eatonton Cotton Warehouse Sales Director. She said, “My goal is to provide our community with an elegant, comfortable, affordable, and welcoming environment to host any type of event.”

With a fully equipped caterer's kitchen, a full service bar, and over 9000 square feet of usable space, the Eatonton Cotton Warehouse provides a matchless event venue at Lake Oconee. The recently modernized building features distinct entertaining areas that include a lounge, indoor and outdoor stages, and a roomy dance floor. Accented by beams and custom lighting, the original hardwood floors, exposed brick walls, and timber framing work together to create an atmosphere that is at once industrial, historic, contemporary, and chic—suitable for any occasion.

As Sales Director for the facility, Stephanie Brookins looks forward to helping people in the Lake Oconee and Lake Sinclair areas create memories, celebrate landmark moments, raise money for causes, and simply enjoy themselves. “I’m excited to be starting this new chapter in my life, and I’m really looking forward to the community involvement.”
